A Message from HAEA Nurse Case Manager Troyce Venturella:

The HAEA Team is closely monitoring all aspects of the Covid 19 (coronavirus) outbreak and focusing on maintaining the health of the HAE patient community. We understand that recent news is generating considerable anxiety among our members, and recommend that the HAE community follow the expert guidance and safety protocols for every day preventative measures from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). For the latest information on the coronavirus, and to find a list of frequently asked questions visit: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html

Limiting your stress can go a long way in keeping you healthy. If you would like to join one of our support groups, feel free to reach out to me for dates and times. Make sure your prescription is up to date and continue to take your HAE therapies according to your treatment plan. There are no reported disruptions in the supply of HAE treatments. Contact your treating physician if you have any medical questions.

Remember that the HAEA is here to answer your questions and address any concerns. Please feel free to contact any of the HAEA Health Advocates at 866-798-5598.

Sincerely,
