Summit 2017
The National Patient Summit Registration is still open, but the deadline for Registration with grant requests has passed.

The US HAEA is excited to announce our upcoming National Patient Summit taking place from September 15th through 17th in Bloomington, Minnesota. This year's theme, "Stand Up Strong", is a unifying call to action for the HAE community and a celebration of work being done by HAE Heroes who make a difference every day by raising HAE awareness within their communities.

The 2017 meeting is open to the entire US HAEA patient community and will feature educational lectures, one-on-one learning opportunities with HAE expert physician/researchers, a fun evening that includes dinner and entertainment to enjoy with members of your HAE community, another exciting HAE IN-MOTION® 5K walk/run on 9/17/17, and much more!  (You will have an opportunity to register for the 5K after you register for the Summit.)

And, don't miss the HAEA Summit Youth Programs! This year's Youth Programs offer exciting events for children and teens attending the conference. There will be educational sessions, fun activities and time to get to know other kids and teens in the HAEA community. A super fun off-site TEEN trip for ages 12-17 is planned for Saturday, September 16, while kids 5-12 will enjoy their time together on-site at the SUMMIT venue.

SUMMIT Registration and Hotel Room Reservation Information
Registration fees (see below) include access to ALL meals, and sessions and special events at the US HAEA National Patient SUMMIT. SUMMIT attendees must submit the total conference registration fee along with their registration application - payable online via debit/credit card only. Space is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference will be given to those who have not previously attended an HAEA SUMMIT. You can register for the SUMMIT at the bottom of this page.

PLEASE NOTE: No HAE medicines or medical treatment will be available at the HAEA SUMMIT. Please make sure to travel with sufficient HAE doses/medication - including prophylactic and/or acute therapy to manage any possible attacks. You will need to be able to self-administer your treatment - again, no HAE medicines or medical services will be available on-site. A local hospital Emergency Room will be alerted to possible triage needs for patients attending the Summit and any/all emergencies will be directed to that hospital. If you wish to arrange for nursing help or other assistance yourself, please be aware that you do so at your own risk and expense.

Summit Youth Program Registration
The HAEA SUMMIT Teen Program has been created for pre-teen and teens ages 12-17 who have been diagnosed with HAE or have an immediate family member diagnosed with HAE. The SUMMIT Kids Program provides an equally engaging program for kids ages 5-12. Registration for the Teen and Kids Programs is free.

If you are interested in having your child participate in either the Teen or Kids Program, you will need to mark the appropriate box on the online registration form. The name and age of each child is required. Once you have arrived at the SUMMIT, you will also need to complete permission/consent forms for each child attending either program. These will be available at the HAEA SUMMIT Registration Desk. Space is limited, so register your teen or child today!

Please Note: On-site registration for the SUMMIT Teen Program will not be available. Teens must pre-register. Childcare services will NOT be provided for infants and children younger than 5 years old.
