If you are thinking about a fundraiser for HAE Day :-) 2013, please be sure to first review the US HAEA Fundraising Guidelines. These guidelines will help you understand your financial responsibilities as an event organizer.
Please remember, too, that the Event Organizer Form must be submitted before you begin to plan any fundraiser.
To help facilitate your HAE Day :-) fundraiser, the US HAEA has contracted with a vendor to produce a number of official HAE Day :-) logo materials you can purchase for your fundraiser – please feel free to purchase these HAE Day :-) products for yourself, your friends, and family too!
PLEASE NOTE: Only the items listed below are authorized for sale at your HAE DAY :-) fundraiser – please do not purchase materials from an outside vendor or sell materials otherwise crafted.
Each item is listed with the price per item. Here is an example regarding selling products for your fundraiser:
If you order 100 pens at $0.35 each, you will pay $35. If you sell 100 pens at $1.00 each, you will make a profit of $65. This ($65) is the amount you will send to the US HAEA as your fundraiser contribution. If you do not sell all of your 100 pens, you will not be reimbursed for unsold items. Please consider your possible sales carefully and order amounts accordingly.
Please only undertake an activity that you have the resources to support.
As in the example above, you are free to set the price at which you choose to sell your items. Consider your potential buyers as you set your price – you do not want to price items too high to sell.
