Treating HAE

HAE is a rare, debilitating and often life-threatening genetic disease. Because HAE is so rare, it is often misdiagnosed or undiagnosed. The lack of disease awareness can be frustrating to HAE patients seeking not only an accurate diagnosis, but an individualized treatment plan that will help them lead a healthy, normal life.

Getting Treatment

Physician Referrals
If you do not already have an HAE knowledgeable physician, we can help with a physician referral. A physician referral is also helpful if you are traveling or moving to a new location.

Treatment Options
Newly-approved HAE therapies offer treatment options. Familiarize yourself with all of the HAE treatments now available and those still to come to market, then work with your physician to create a treatment plan that fits your individual needs.

Clinical Trials
Whether you are already on a therapy for HAE or not, you may wish to check into HAE clinical trials that are currently recruiting participants.
