Be a US HAEA Ambassador

The work of the US HAEA is made possible to a large extent through the assistance of our member volunteers.

If you are interested in volunteering for the US HAEA, we are thrilled that you want to help!

There is strength in numbers as we advocate on behalf of HAE patients for new health legislation and new HAE research.

As one might expect from a “digital age” organization that was formed on the Internet, the HAEA’s web page (www.haea.org) serves as a principal focal point for information dissemination and interaction within our patient community. But our volunteers add a more personal touch, acting as ambassadors at large to represent the US HAEA.

If you would like to donate your time and energy on behalf of the US HAEA, please simply send an email to info@haea.org . We will provide a number of volunteer activity suggestions – you may choose to pursue all of them or just one. It is totally up to you!

You may also wish to help out by:

• participating in our Scientific Registry
• donating your HAE attack photos to our Image Repository
• becoming involved in political advocacy efforts

As always, we are here to anwer any questions you may have or provide guidance as you engage in your chosen volunteer activities.
